Job advertisement nursing home nurse
Our nursing home nurse is to be appointed to a position at another site in Faxe Municipality as of 01.12.2026. Therefore we are looking for you for this exciting permanent position of 37 hours per week.
You have both the desire and the ability to work independently and balance between clinical and professional responsibility. You will collaborate with a dedicated team of staff consisting of mixed professional disciplines as well as various seniority and competence levels.
- And you should know that we are undertaking 1000 different initiatives in our small house, of which currently the main focus is things like the implementation of medication trolleys and team organization around the clock.
What do you do as a nursing home nurse? The list is long, but here are some headlines
Caring for acute complex nursing, treatment plans, competence development, sparring with colleagues, triage, documentation (CURA), audits, etc.
In addition to the tasks you have in your own house, you are part of the on-call telephone system for all eight nursing homes in Faxe Municipality. Here you will handle acute nursing tasks at the other nursing homes if the on-site nurse is not present.
You will on average have a duty phone every 10th weekday with planned on-site presence from 07:00 – 15:00.

But in addition we still expect a bit more, including
- Education and authorization as a nurse
- 5 years of clinical experience as a nurse
- Preferably a mentoring/leadership qualification in your toolkit – otherwise we can talk about it
- Great interest in the elderly field
- Ability to work independently
- Driver's license
