We strive to cook from scratch for all days of the week. We place a high value on quality and that our residents get exactly the food they like and that matches their eating abilities.

We are a large nursing home with a total of 66 residents spread over 4 departments. We are 3 nutrition assistants/catering staff who collaborate to ensure residents receive good, tasty and well-prepared meals. We bake, pickle, make our own marmalade, delicious desserts, hot meals, warm dishes, exciting open sandwiches, special diets and whatever other exciting ideas we come up with. We order goods, make meal plans and carry out self-inspection. We collaborate both in the kitchens and with planning, ordering, etc. We have a rotating schedule, so we rotate tasks every 2 months.

Candidate profile

You are an engaged nutrition assistant, cook, caterer or other catering staff who wants to maintain and improve the quality of the meals for our residents. You are positive, like to take initiative and come up with ideas and proposals for change or perhaps a delicious dinner or celebration.

You should be inclined to have conversations with residents, and occasionally eat with them and talk with them about the food and perhaps jointly plan the menu or take requests.

When a new resident moves in, you have a conversation with the resident to hear a bit about what he/she has been used to eating and what they like and whether there should be any points of attention regarding the diet.

You must be structured and enjoy working alone and with colleagues.

Salary and terms of employment

The position is expected to commence on 01.12.26.

Salary and employment conditions according to the applicable collective agreement as nutrition assistant.

Final salary determination takes place after negotiation with the authorized trade union on the basis of qualifications.
