Are you caring, present, and able to create security for the people you interact with? We are seeking an educator who is authentic and clear in communication and wishes to become part of a staff group with a focus on development.

You will become part of a fixed resident team that specializes in the individual resident's functional level, needs, and wishes for life. We work with 1:1 normalization around a resident with pervasive developmental disorders within the autism spectrum. You can expect long shifts (8 to 22), which in addition to flexibility in your life also gives you the opportunity to immerse yourself in the work around the individual resident and work purposefully with the educational strategies you have established in collaboration with your team.

All teams follow an annual wheel containing time for professional deepening in the pedagogical effort and development plan as well as professional supervision. In addition, we place high priority on team collaboration and strengthen the common “WE” at the workplace through daily overlap and joint meetings.

We expect that you have

• a relevant pedagogical or health professional education – such as educator, pedagogical assistant, teacher, social worker, occupational therapist or physiotherapist or SOSU assistant
• knowledge of autism, TEACCH and working with people with mental challenges
• a professionalism that allows you to keep an overview and make decisions in the moment with and around the resident
• a high degree of integrity, honesty, and willingness to take responsibility
• a desire for a workplace where two days are never the same
• courage to take on complex professional tasks and develop your competences in practice
• driving license B
