Educator, PAU or similar sought

Passionate about presence, nature and small people with big personalities?

Then maybe you’re the one we’re looking for in our children's house!

Bjerregrav Friskole og Børnehus is seeking a curious, playful and present colleague for a permanent position of 34 hours per week starting 1 January 2027.

With us you get the best of two worlds, as you become part of both our kindergarten and SFO – with roughly half your hours at each place.

Can you see yourself in this?

✓

You get energy from being with children aged 3–9 years and become truly curious about their small and big worlds.

✓

You believe that safety, presence and good relationships are the foundation for children to grow and become strong little people.

✓

You see opportunities rather than limitations – even when things don’t go exactly as planned.

✓

You can be both the adult who jumps into the puddle and the one who creates calm, direction and safe frames.

✓

You have a ready smile, a twinkle in your eye and believe that humor and warmth make a difference in everyday life.

✓

You think that a day in rubber boots can be just as fantastic as a day indoors.

Hos os er der plads til idéer, initiativ og forskellighed

We are a free kindergarten, and that means we have the opportunity to think creatively, seize the children’s initiatives and shape a daily life where the pedagogical makes sense.

We believe that the best days are created in community, and that good relationships between children and adults are among the most important things we can pass on.

Who are we?

We are a free school and a children’s house where there are currently 33 children in the kindergarten, 55 children in the SFO, and 180 pupils at the school.

We are located about 15 km north of Viborg, in the midst of the loveliest nature, where forest, stream and a shelter area almost form an extension of our playground.

We love outdoor life! Nature is not just a place we visit – it is a natural part of our everyday life and a fantastic space for play, learning, immersion and community.

We are part of Bjerregrav Friskole, and the close collaboration between kindergarten, SFO and school is something we value highly.

Several of our staff work in both the kindergarten and the SFO, and that helps create familiarity, safety and good transitions for the children.

We also use the school’s facilities, including the mini-hall and the home economics classroom. We participate in morning assemblies, go to the swimming pool with the oldest kindergarten children and occasionally go on adventures in the school’s bus.

Herredsvejen 133 9632 Møldrup Tel. 8669 1283 www.bjerregravfriskole.dk

You will become part of an engaged staff group where we help each other, laugh together and are passionate about creating a safe, fun and developmental everyday life for the children.

We also have a fantastic group of parents and a local community that support our place.

And of course we have the sweetest children within miles – and some quite fantastic colleagues, if we may say so ourselves!

Would you like to become part of our community?

Then we look forward to hearing from you!

You are very welcome to drop by and experience our children’s house. We will gladly show you around, offer a cup of coffee and tell you about our everyday life.

You can contact department head Nanna Dalby Buskov at 86 69 12 83 (press 6), if you have questions or would like to arrange a visit.
