Pedagogical staff member for a support role in school and junior club (20 hours per week)

Are you passionate about making a difference for children and young people? Do you have strong relationship skills and a desire to support a child's wellbeing both at school and in leisure time? Then this may be the job for you.

Blåbjerg School, the Lunde-Kvong department is seeking an engaged and caring pedagogical staff member for a support role of 20 hours per week around a 6th grade student in a fixed-term position.

The position includes support both during school hours and in the junior club, where the primary task is to support the student's social well-being and participation in communities.

Your primary tasks

• Support the student's participation in teaching and the school's social communities.
• Be a safe and present adult who can help the student with social situations and daily life transitions.
• Provide support in connection with the student's diabetes, including being attentive to the student's needs in daily life. Training will be provided as needed.

We are looking for a staff member who

• Has experience with or an interest in working with school-age children.
• Is strong in relationship-building and has a focus on inclusion and community.
• Is calm, affirming and clear in their approach to children.
• Wants to learn about and handle the tasks involved in supporting a child with diabetes.
