At Idrætsbørnehuset Hoppeland we’re not just looking for a new colleague. We’re looking for a person,

who wants to create a daily life filled with security, presence, play, movement and laughter for our

youngest children.

Someone who wants to come down on the floor, sing lullabies, tumble on the mat, explore with the children and find joy in the small moments that make a big difference.

We are a sports-certified kindergarten where the body and the senses are a natural part of the children's play

and development. It’s not about being the fastest or the strongest, but about exploring the world,

strengthening motor skills and developing courage, language and relationships through play.

We believe that all children do the best they can. Therefore we meet them with warmth, curiosity and

focus on their resources – and create safe frames where all children feel they belong.

With us, play is not just something we do. It is here that the children develop – together with

present adults who want them.

Your profile

▪ You preferably have experience from a nursery or working with the youngest children and know how

important presence, care and safe relationships are.

▪ You are robust and can maintain calm and an overview – even when several children need you at the same time.

▪ You meet the children with warmth, patience and curiosity and believe that all

children do their best.

▪ You want to play, tumble, sing and actively participate in the children’s everyday life –

both indoors and outdoors.

▪ You can take initiative, work independently and see what is needed in everyday life.

▪ You are responsible, reliable and flexible, and you contribute positively to

the community.

▪ You are present, smiling and can create security through your relationships with both

children, parents and colleagues.

▪ You want to learn, develop yourself and cooperate with engaged colleagues.

▪ Can you play an instrument or do you love music, it’s a bonus – but not

a requirement.

▪ You can work within the day care’s opening hours 6.30–17.00.

Salary and terms of employment

Salary and terms of employment will be in accordance with the applicable collective agreement. Final salary determination

will be after negotiation with the union that has the right to negotiate based on qualifications.

Weekly hours: 37 hours per week, unless otherwise agreed

About us

Risskov day care is located 5 km from downtown Aarhus. The day care consists of 11 departments of which

Idrætsbørnehuset Hoppeland is one.

Hoppeland is a kindergarten house in development, where there is room to put your mark. We are a newer

sports-certified kindergarten house with about 108 children distributed across four nursery groups and three

preschool groups.

We believe in children – and at Hoppeland we work from a resource-oriented view of childhood.

We believe that children do the best they can, with the prerequisites they have. Therefore we meet children with

curiosity, understanding and respect, and we work purposefully to create opportunities for participation for all

children.
