Pedagogical assistants for Ringertoften's nursery and kindergarten

About the position

At Ringertoften, the relationship with the children is our most important task. As a pedagogical assistant you will become a central part of the children's daily life and will work in close collaboration with colleagues across rooms.

We work in smaller teams and organize the day in small groups, so there is time and calm for presence, play, and learning. The everyday life is based on the children's needs and development, and we focus on creating safe and manageable frameworks for both nursery and kindergarten children.

Our house contains four workshops – water, creativity, baking, as well as nature and science – which support the pedagogical work and give the children clarity and recognizability in everyday life.

Our pedagogical approach

We work in a structured and organized way with our pedagogical practice. This is reflected, among other things, in our weekly plans and in the work with SMTTE and TOPI, so the children meet activities that support their well-being, development, and learning.

When we work with themes such as emotions and senses, we plan concrete activities with sensory materials, visual elements, and focus words, so all children can participate on their own terms.

Language work occupies a large part of what we do, and therefore good Danish skills are a prerequisite – both spoken and written.

The daily life at Ringertoften

Ringertoften is an integrated institution for children aged 0-5 years, with about 180 children distributed across both nursery and kindergarten. Our opening hours are 06:00-17:00.

Terms of employment

Salary and employment conditions in accordance with applicable collective agreement and local pay formation

The positions are generally 37 hours per week. Start date December 1, 2026 or as soon as possible.

A background check of children’s and criminal records as well as references will be obtained in connection with the appointment.
