Pedagogical Assistants for Isbjørnen

Isbjørnen is a large integrated institution with eight nursery groups and eight kindergarten groups, but divided into small cozy teams

We are looking for two pedagogical assistants for Isbjørnen, who

• are passionate about children and pedagogy
• have experience from day-care institutions
• are extroverted and good at communicating with others
• are strong relationally and have a positive and acknowledging approach to children, parents and colleagues
• value a structured daily routine and have your things in order
• have a high work ethic and can work with many good and diverse colleagues
• are flexible – we go a long way to support and help each other

In the kindergarten we work in teams of two rooms. In the individual teams we work a lot across with the child groups from the two rooms in the team. Every 3rd Friday there is a team meeting where pedagogy is discussed and activities and pedagogical interventions are planned.

In the nursery we have two departments with four rooms in each department.

We are a dynamic house with over 65 employees, which helps to provide nuanced personal sparring and good opportunities for personal development. We are thus a house with lots of life and place a strong emphasis on well-being and job satisfaction. We do this through a strong focus on the professional, both on an individual level and as an organizational goal.

We work very structurally with weekly plans and fixed routines, so both children and adults know what will happen. We work with Low arousal, Language Ladder, Together about language, The Book of the Year, Free from bullying and much more.

Salary and employment terms according to the applicable collective agreement and within the framework of local wage formation. We obtain child and criminal background checks and take references in connection with employment.
