Pedagogical assistant for the kindergarten at Bryrup Børnehus

Pedagogical Assistant - Maternity Leave Substitute - 37 hours for the kindergarten at Bryrup Childcare House – from January 1, 2027.

Can you see the fun and challenge in working with children aged 0-6, and are you ready to influence the learning and wellbeing processes that are already underway, then you are the person we are looking for for a maternity leave substitute from January 1, 2027 to August 15, 2027.

You will start in one of the kindergarten groups – but since we work together as one house, you will also have hours and tasks in the other kindergarten groups and in our nursery. Therefore, it is important that you have an interest in and flair for working with all our little, in-between and big children.

We are an integrated child care house normed for 100 kindergarten children and 28 nursery children. Since we work in small groups, we expect you to be able to work independently. We also expect you to be an active participant with the children in all daily activities and routines. Experience with pedagogical work in a day-care institution is a plus - but not necessarily a requirement.

In Bryrup Childcare House we work a lot with and in nature, and we use nature as far as possible as the basis for our work with all curriculum themes. For the last 19 years we have received the Outdoor Council's Green Flag for our nature work. We therefore expect you to love being outdoors in all kinds of weather every day. In addition, we have a bodily approach to play, learning and development, so we are looking for an employee who wishes to be physically active in their work.

Working hours vary and are in the period 6:15-16:45. Therefore we expect you to be able to cover both open and closing shifts – which means you must have your own car and driver's license, as bus times to and from Bryrup unfortunately do not align with meeting times.

We are part of the Daycare Nature Path which consists of 4 kindergartens – The Ash House, The Beech House and The Poplar House in Them, as well as Bryrup Childcare House - with an institutional leader and 3 daily leaders.
