Pedagogical-administrative leader for VIA Administration Bachelor's

Are you focused on how professional education programs are developed to create high quality and clear professional relevance? Are you focused on leadership, educational development and teaching? Then you may be our new pedagogical-administrative leader for the Administration Bachelor programme at VIA.

We are seeking a leader who together with the programme director, teachers and study coordinators will drive the continued development of the program's academic, pedagogical and didactic quality. We are in the process of implementing a new education regulation and study regulations, and you will play a central role in translating ambitions about strong learning environments, high study intensity and profession-oriented teaching into concrete practice.

You will, together with the programme director and the teaching group, drive the development of the program's didactic profile, which takes its starting point in problem-based learning and ensure that teaching, guidance, practice and exams support the students' learning in the best possible way.

Your leadership focus is particularly aimed at

• leadership of the program's pedagogical and didactic development
• support for the teachers' professional and pedagogical development
• systematic work with evaluation, quality and educational development
• the daily planning and operation of the program
• staff management of the program's 10 teachers

We are seeking a leader who

• has a strong interest in professional education, learning and didactics and a desire to take on both leadership tasks and teaching
• has knowledge of the program's practice within public administration
• is able to create reflection, development and learning in the teaching team
• works data-based with educational quality and student learning outcomes
• can balance development tasks with secure operations and transparent prioritizations
• has a master's degree or equivalent in the social sciences

In addition, we value

• experience with development of teaching or learning pathways at higher education institutions, ideally being lecturer evaluated
• insight into professional didactics and evaluation of learning
• experience with leading or facilitating professional and pedagogical development processes
• an interest in the interaction between digitalisation, technology and learning
• experience with quality work within the education sector

The position includes teaching, guidance and/or research and development corresponding to about half a position. The position reports to the programme director.

The program is part of the Social and Community Education at VIA, which in addition to the Administration Bachelor comprises the following programs: Health Administrative Coordinator, Social Worker, Tax, Civil Society Development as well as Diakonia and Social Pedagogy.

Terms of employment

Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the Agreement on the Employment of Managers at institutions within teaching, education and research in the Ministry of Education and Research. The position has no cap on maximum working hours. The main workplace is Ceresbyen 24, 8000 Aarhus C.
