Pedagogical staff for after-hours program near Brønderslev (long onboarding meetings)

Are you ready for a daily routine where your effort makes a concrete difference for people with pervasive developmental disorders and psychosocial challenges?

In a team of 5 staff you will together develop your professional practice around the client and work targeted with structures and clear methods.

We work in a fixed team around the client, where we as a starting point work with 1:1 staffing. It gives you the opportunity to immerse yourself in the work around the client and work purposefully with the pedagogical strategies you have set in collaboration with your team. You can expect long intakes/shifts of 24-26 hours, from 8 am to 10 am the next day, which means you can expect between 6 and 8 intakes per month.

In a 37-hour position you should expect weekend work about every other weekend, as part of the regular meeting schedule. It is important that you thrive working independently. At Langbrovej you will in your intakes be alone with the client without colleagues in immediate proximity. You meet a colleague again only at the next day’s overlap. This differs from Fjelsted, where there are always three colleagues nearby, who likewise work 1:1.

We expect that you have

• A relevant pedagogical education – such as pedagogue, teacher, pedagogical assistant, teacher, social worker, occupational and physiotherapist or similar
• Knowledge of autism, Low-arousal, mentalization and working with meeting people where they are
• A professionalism that enables you to maintain overview and make decisions under pressure
• A high degree of integrity, honesty, and willingness to take responsibility
• A desire to work in a workplace where two days are never the same
• Willingness to tackle complex professional tasks and develop your competences in practice
• Experience with personal care
• Driver's license B

About Solistilbuddet Langbrovej and Fjeldsted

We are a solo residential service for a client with complex challenges and pervasive developmental disorders. We are located in peaceful rural surroundings close to Brønderslev.

You will be part of a team that helps create a good everyday life for the resident at our residence, who daily needs support to structure his/her day. We are constantly seeking to improve professionally, and are among other things in the process of incorporating a newly developed AI system into our pedagogical work.
