We are looking for pedagogical staff for the nursery, and the children are eager to have you on the team.

You should apply for our open positions at Blomsterkassen because we currently need to recruit a pedagogical staff member who can and wants to help shape the good childhood with us.

We are an institution with four rooms, each with 12 children. With a close professional leader near practice, who together with the staff helps realize new initiatives, we shape the good childhood together.

At Blomsterkassen, employees have great opportunity to influence pedagogical processes and development initiatives. You get the opportunity to influence which practice you will work in, and if you are passionate about a larger area of responsibility, the role as subject lead/coordinator may be for you.

Professional development and quality building

At Blomsterkassen we have just worked with a six-month learning program focused on creating secure relationships and positive interactions. It includes the Safety Circle, where the взрослый is a safe base for the child and meets the child with a calm nervous system. In interaction with the child, the adult is always attentive to maintain eye contact, listen to the child and be curious to understand the child’s intentions. Here in 2026 we have expanded the learning program, so we also focus on interaction and relationships in play.

• that we are language role models – we have, among other things, on our Professional Fridays had a longer program focusing on language, where we with practice drills work on developing and improving the linguistic quality in conversation and interaction with the children
• pedagogy and development in daily routines, and there are many opportunities in the things we do every day – diaper changes, clothing, lunch, bedtime etc. are some of the best opportunities for development and interaction with the children, not just a practical task to get through
• that we plan activities based on the child group and the individual child's ability to participate and be part of a community – we meet the children based on where they are each, so that everyone has the same opportunities for development
• that there is learning in everything, and we believe that practice makes perfect – at Blomsterkassen the children have space and opportunity to practice both indoors and outdoors
• that staff meetings are given high priority, as we believe they have a great impact on the quality of our pedagogical work – the pedagogical leader attends all staff meetings
• that we lift together to make everyday life as good as possible – this flexibility is an important part of our daily life

Who are you?

You want to create quality for the children together with us. You are aware of what quality is, and you know how you can contribute together with your colleagues. You possess empathy and presence, and you focus on the children’s perspectives and meet them where they are. Your skills as a pedagogue you are incredibly proud of, for your education is important, and you know that it is.

You must be able to thrive in structure and routines, and you must have a positive approach to working with the professional action plan and the tasks that follow from it.

Most importantly you must of course be passionate about creating the prerequisites for the good childhood, and you must be able to see yourself as part of a team that sees opportunities in the challenges we encounter along the way. Only together can we create the best framework for the good childhood.

Is there more?

Yes there is: In addition to the professional pedagogical leader, we also have a pedagogue with a leadership function, who primarily handles the administrative tasks in the house. Together we function as a leadership that is visible, close to practice and available every day.

At the same time, strengthening the work community is at the forefront for us, and therefore you will experience leadership that takes you and your colleagues seriously.

Terms of employment

Salary and terms of employment are set according to qualifications and the applicable collective agreement between the municipality and the relevant professional organization.

The working hours amount to 37 hours per week, but if you wish for fewer hours, we are open to talking.

Our opening hours are 7:00-16:45 Monday-Thursday and Friday 7:00-16:30. In addition, there are evening meetings once a month, and of course we expect you to be able to work within that time frame.

The employment can take place as soon as possible.

In connection with the employment we will obtain child protection and criminal records checks as well as references.

We offer employment with the possibility of taking responsibility for special areas where you can put your mark on the pedagogical work in everyday life.
