• You can take pedagogical leadership in the group and you actively contribute to the team’s and the house’s shared tasks
• You consciously use body, facial expressions and voice to create contact, presence and dialogue.

Who we are

We are a children's house normed for 114 wonderful children, spread across four toddler groups and three kindergarten groups. In addition, there are 26 dedicated skilled staff to take care of the children's care, well-being and development – two kitchen staff and an educational leader.

We have good physical premises and two lovely, green and spacious playgrounds.

We value professionalism, engagement and smiles in everyday life – and work every day so that all children feel seen, heard, understood and as part of the children's community.

In Ballerup Municipality, the day-care area is organized into five districts. The district division follows the school districts, as Ballerup Municipality aims for a coordinated effort for the 0-25-year-old area.

District Skovlunde 0-5 years is located in Skovlunde and consists of six nurseries, with about 675 children, 10 pedagogical leaders and a district leader.

The management structure strengthens leadership close to children and staff as well as the professional environments in the day-care centers. The guiding principles for the day-care’s work are described in the municipality’s vision “Daycare with meaning”:

Employment process and salary

The start date is January 1, 2027 – or as soon as possible thereafter.

We hold interviews as applications come in.

The position is, in principle, 37 hours and a permanent position.

Application deadline: November 18, 2026

We offer salary and employment terms according to the agreement for pedagogues in municipalities and according to local salary formation principles and after agreement with the negotiating party organization.

The salary range for the position is 35,991 DKK – 40,299 DKK per month (37 hours).

The salary depends on a negotiation between the manager and the professional organization that holds the right to negotiate for the applicable agreement.

The composition of the salary depends on your education, documented seniority and qualifications.
