Production and Sales Coordinator for ASAWood

ASAWood produces customized wooden packaging for the industry. We develop and manufacture packaging solutions to meet customers' specific measurements and needs – including for transportation and handling of industrial products.

We are on an exciting growth journey. We are making targeted investments in sales and ambitiously working to create new customer relationships, develop existing collaborations and increase turnover.

Therefore we are looking for a production and sales coordinator who can keep track of the daily operations and at the same time actively contribute to developing the business.

We are looking for a person who thrives both in making things work in practice and has an eye for where there are new opportunities for the company.

A versatile role with responsibility and influence

You will be an important link between customers, sales, administration and production. You must ensure that orders move efficiently through production and to the customer, while contributing to laying the groundwork for new orders and increased turnover.

You will have a varied daily life, where you work with coordination, planning, customer contact and business development.

Your primary tasks

Coordination of production and orders

• Coordinate daily production and prioritize incoming orders.
• Ensure that production orders, production papers and cutting sheets are ready.
• Follow up on ongoing orders and ensure progress and timely delivery.
• Coordinate tasks with the production staff and help create a good flow in daily operations.
• Approve completed orders and ensure correct handling of shipments, freight and invoicing.
• Coordinate external processing and other practical tasks related to deliveries.

Customers and commercial development

• Collaborate closely with the company's salespeople to develop the business and create increased turnover.
• Help establish new customer relationships and develop collaboration with existing customers.
• Identify opportunities for upselling and new tasks in dialogue with customers.
• Contribute with technical and practical understanding of customers' needs and translate them into relevant packaging solutions.
• Prepare input for offers and calculations in collaboration with sales and production.
• Follow up on customer inquiries and ensure that opportunities are converted into concrete orders.
• Contribute to ensuring that the orders we sell can also be produced efficiently and with sensible profitability.

You will not be alone in sales. We have salespeople who work dedicatedly to create new customers and business opportunities. Your role will be to supplement their efforts with product knowledge, customer dialogue, follow-up and a close understanding of what we can offer the market.

We want sales and production to work closely together – and that you become an important part of that connection.

Who are you?

This job can be for people with various backgrounds. Maybe you have worked in sales at a timber shop or similar, or have experience from a manufacturing company, a technical company or a company with customized products.

The most important thing is that you can work efficiently and in a structured way and are good at coordinating many tasks at once. And we expect that you:

• Have a practical and solution-oriented approach.
• Thrive in customer contact and have an interest in sales and business development.
• Are good at building relationships and see opportunities to develop collaborations.
• Can communicate with both production workers, customers, salespeople and management.
• Have commercial understanding and interest in calculations, offers and profitability.
• Takes initiative and follows tasks through to completion.
• Have IT understanding and preferably experience with ERP and production systems.

It is an advantage if you have experience with wood packaging, industrial packaging or other technical products, but it is not a requirement.

The most important is that you can create structure in everyday life and are eager to contribute to the company's growth.
