About the job

Are you our new strategic project manager, who has the black belt in facilitation and development?

In the Center for Handicap and Psychiatry we are doing something we have not tried before.

We are creating a new strategic key position because we face a number of complex development and transformation tasks that call for strong strategic support and cross-cutting coordination. The desire to make a difference for our citizens in vulnerable positions is an important factor for us and we have ambitions on behalf of citizens, employees and the organization. Therefore we are looking for a strategic project manager who can create coherence between political ambitions, professional development and organizational reality.

This is not a position with staffing responsibility. On the other hand, it is a position for you who can create followership, direction and action, even when no one formally reports to you.

You must be able to facilitate processes, bring people together around common goals, translate complex agendas into meaningful stories and help ensure that good intentions become real change. It is a role between strategy and reality.

As a strategic project manager you will be part of the center management with reference to the center head and with the entire CHP as your workplace. You will have a central role in driving some of the organization's most important development and transformation agendas.

You must be able to move effortlessly between meetings with leaders, employees, citizens and partners. One day you work with strategic analyses, minutes and planning. The next day you facilitate a workshop or lead a cross-cutting development program.

You will among other things be responsible for

  • Drive strategic development projects from idea to anchoring
  • Support management with presentations and strategic sparring
  • Design and facilitate development processes, workshops and theme days
  • Strengthen the organization's ability to work across
  • Create momentum in complex initiatives with many stakeholders
  • Translate political decisions and strategies into concrete actions
  • Support changes, implementation and organizational development
  • Convey complex messages simply, clearly and engagingly
  • Be involved in developing strong narratives about CHP's direction and ambitions

We are looking for someone who can create movement and momentum.

We imagine that you

  • Have experience with project management of complex development or transformation tasks.
  • Can build relationships and collaborate across disciplines and organizational levels.
  • Are a strong facilitator who gets people to contribute actively.
  • Are a skilled communicator both orally and in writing.
  • Can translate strategy into practice without losing overview.
  • Thrives in ambiguity and can provide direction when answers are not given in advance.
  • Have political and organizational understanding.
  • Can work independently and at the same time create engagement in others.

It is advantageous if you

  • Have experience from the social sector, health sector or the public sector.
  • Have worked with organizational development, implementation or transformation.
  • Have methodological competencies within project management, process management or change management.
  • Have experience with strategic communication and narratives as a leadership tool.

Therefore you should choose us

Center for Handicap and Psychiatry faces a number of exciting strategic opportunities. We are ambitious on behalf of citizens and focused on developing strong professional communities and attractive workplaces.

You will have the opportunity to make a mark on an organization with high professionalism, great commitment and a willingness to think new.

You will become part of an organization where development is not something we talk about. It is something we do.
