Project Manager with a Customer Focus

Do you want to help create a more customer-oriented agency and translate customer insights into concrete results?

We are looking for an ambitious and relationship-driven project leader who will drive and coordinate our cross-cutting effort Customer Focus . You will play a central role in strengthening the customer experience, reducing unnecessary inquiries and contributing to shorter case handling times through a better understanding of customers' needs.

The position is organizationally anchored in the Danish Road Traffic Authority's Directorate Secretariat, where you will work closely with the central and strategic decisions.

About the job

As a project leader in the Directorate Secretariat, your primary task is to create momentum in the cross-cutting initiatives that support the authority's strategic work with customer involvement, customer contact and customer experience.

You will have a coordinating role across the organization and must ensure that good ideas and analyses are translated into concrete improvements for both customers and employees.

Your main tasks will be to

• drive and coordinate cross-cutting initiatives within the customer focus task.
• create momentum in development and implementation activities across professional areas
• collect, analyze and translate customer insights into concrete improvement measures
• support management with decision proposals, analyses and recommendations
• facilitate workshops, working groups and stakeholder processes
• ensure follow-up on effects and benefits of implemented initiatives
• work closely with the Customer Center, IT, Projects and Development as well as other disciplines.

An important part of the job is to contribute to realizing the agency's common goal of fewer customer inquiries and shorter case handling times through better customer insight and more efficient processes.

About you

• have a relevant academic education at master's level
• have experience with project management, process development or organizational development
• have strong analytical skills and can translate data and insights into action
• are skilled at building relationships and establishing trust among different stakeholders
• communicate clearly and professionally both orally and in writing
• work in a structured, independent and results-driven way.

It is an advantage if you have experience with customer-oriented development, service design, user involvement or similar areas, but it is not a requirement.

Organizational placement

The position is located in the Directorate Secretariat and reports to the Head of Function Lena Toft and the Office Chief Anne Bach Grønbæk. You will also work closely with the Office Chief for Market Access and Customers, relevant disciplines, and the Projects and Development team.

Salary and terms of employment

The position is a permanent full-time position. The position is to be filled on 1 January 2027 or as soon as possible.

The workplace is Ribe

Employment is in accordance with the Circular on the collective agreement for academics in the state, AC agreement. There will also be opportunities for negotiation of supplements based on qualifications.

Salary placement is in accordance with the salary overview of the Employee and Competence Agency as of 1 August 2026. For placement under the AC agreement, please refer to page 31 and the bottom of page 32, Salary overview as of 1 August 2026 .
