We are seeking a psychologist for 30-37 hours per week for a maternity cover at Sundhedscenter Hjørring – Borgersundhed as soon as possible or at the latest by 1 December 2026.

About the position

Sundhedscenter Hjørring is the City of Hjørring's central actor in health promotion and prevention. We work to strengthen health among citizens and employees through professionally strong and holistic interventions.

In Early Intervention we collaborate with employees who are on sick leave or at risk of sick leave.

The aim is to prevent long-term sickness absence and strengthen the possibilities for retention and return to work.

The initiative is carried out by a multidisciplinary team consisting of retention consultants from the Jobcentre, nurses, physiotherapists and psychologists from Sundhedscenter Hjørring.

The team works with a foundation in the third wave of cognitive behavioral therapy, particularly ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) and mindfulness.

Your tasks

As a psychologist in Early Intervention you will among other things

• Conduct psychological assessments of the individual employee's situation
• Carry out shorter individual counseling sessions (up to 4-5 sessions)
• Assess and advise on psychological accommodations in relation to returning to work
• Offer sparring and support to employees on sick leave
• Actively participate in the multidisciplinary collaboration around the process
• Plan and conduct group programs for employees with stress-related challenges

We are looking for a colleague who

• Is educated cand.psych. (cand.psych.)
• Preferably has experience from a municipal organisation or another public workplace
• Has experience with short-term interventions and advisory conversations
• Thrives in multidisciplinary collaboration and sees the value in different professional perspectives
• Communicates confidently and professionally both orally and in writing
• Preferably has experience facilitating group programs
• Works independently and can plan own tasks
• Thrives in a daily environment characterized by development and change
• Has good IT skills at user level
