MEDIPRAX is a specialized psychiatric clinic with nationwide activities. Here the focus is on high professional quality, accessibility and individually tailored treatment pathways. The clinic works with assessment and treatment of, among others, ADHD/ADD, autism, OCD, anxiety and depression.

Since MEDIPRAX operates outside insurance agreements, there is freedom to design the treatment based on the patient’s needs. This creates good conditions for professional quality and depth in the individual course. The organization consists of psychiatrists and psychologists who collaborate closely in an interdisciplinary environment, where professional sparring is a natural part of everyday life.

Role as psychologist at MEDIPRAX

As a psychologist at MEDIPRAX you will have a central role in the work with assessment, testing and treatment of patients with various problems. You will work independently with your patient pathways and at the same time engage in close collaboration with the clinic’s psychiatrists and other professionals to ensure holistic and cohesive treatment pathways.

You will among other things work with psychological assessments, including testing and evaluation, as well as therapeutic courses tailored to the individual patient’s needs. The role provides opportunities for both professional deepening and active participation in the development of the clinic’s treatment methods and workflows, and you will have a daily life where quality of treatment is at the center.

You will become part of a professionally strong environment, where collaboration and knowledge sharing across disciplines is a natural part of everyday life. Emphasis is placed on an informal and professional work environment, where there is room for dialogue, sparring and ongoing development. The clinic works purposefully to optimize patient pathways and create efficient processes, which allows you to actively contribute to improvements and development.

The position is flexible and can be adjusted for both full-time and part-time depending on your wishes. There is a focus on creating good conditions for the work, including the possibility of flexible scheduling of the workday. There are no shifts and no weekends off, which provides good opportunities for a good balance between work and private life.

Professional profile

You are a trained psychologist with solid experience from the public psychiatry, where you have gained the necessary competencies to independently handle psychological assessments from the start. At the same time you have professional curiosity that drives you to understand and work in depth with the individual patient’s problem. You are motivated to create meaningful pathways where there is room for both reflection, quality and individually tailored treatment.

You have interest in or experience with assessment and treatment of psychiatric conditions such as ADHD/ADD, anxiety and depression, and you thrive in working with combining structured assessment with therapeutic work. Experience with testing is an advantage, but not essential, if you are eager to develop in the area.

You work independently and naturally take responsibility for your patient pathways, while valuing sparring and collaboration as part of your professional practice. You actively contribute to an environment where quality, reflection and professional development are central.

As a person you are present, calm and trustworthy. You manage to create safe relationships and meet your patients with respect, authenticity and professional integrity.
