About the job

In Rødovre we have big ambitions that all of Rødovre's children and youths should have the best opportunities to play, learn, thrive and develop.

To help with this, we are therefore hiring psychologists who want and have the prerequisites to co-create and support the best frameworks for children's learning, well-being and development in various ways. The positions, which are in play, are aimed especially at Let Accessible Treatment, as well as PPR support and cross-disciplinary collaboration in both the day-care and school sectors. The positions start from 1/1-2027.

If we choose each other, you will become part of the Pedagogical Development Center (PUC), which also houses the Municipality of Rødovre's PPR. With PUC as a base, we solve most tasks at schools and in day-care centers in collaboration with other professions and disciplines.

About the job

The tasks you may contribute to include, among others, the following

  • Participate in cross-professional, practice-oriented and creative initiatives to create the best frameworks for children and their communities
  • Contribute to ensuring that children's needs and prerequisites are examined, supported and met – including through tests, PPV's, conversations with children and parents, treatment and by contributing to referral processes
  • Advise, spar with and guide professionals and parents in both mono- and cross-disciplinary contexts

Thus, the tasks are potentially on the school or early childhood area and be treatment-oriented as well as citizen-facing counseling.

You will be offered a mentor at startup so we can help you get well introduced to your tasks, and you will have the opportunity to get to know the municipality and our workflows.

Your profile

You may be finishing your education, newly graduates or experienced. We will tailor your introduction to your prerequisites in any case, and your task portfolio will be composed with a view to your experience, interests and competencies.

For us it is important that you

  • Are strong in relationships and can perceive, understand and navigate between different perspectives
  • Have professional knowledge about children's and youths' learning, well-being and development that can be translated creatively into pedagogical practice and/or therapeutic practice
  • Have a strong cross-professional mindset
  • Share the Municipality of Rødovre's view of children
  • Work systematically and tenaciously
  • Value a good collegial togetherness and want to contribute positively to it.

We also hope that you

  • Know and possibly have experience with psychological tests, preparation of PPV's, referrals for assessments, Let Accessible Offers (FX STIME, Cool Kids or similar) etc.
  • Know PPR's role and tasks.

To succeed in the job it is also important that you

  • Thrive in daily participation in maintaining and developing many and changing collaboration relationships
  • Are creative and curious about how we together with leaders, teachers, pedagogues, children and colleagues can find the best paths to take
  • Have the ability to independently organize and prioritize your work tasks
  • Are a constructive teammate in a politically governed context.

Who we are

PUC has a little over 60 curious, proactive and professionally sharp colleagues who together solve a wide range of operations and development tasks related especially to PPR, strategic development projects and SSP.

PUC is an inspiring and dynamic workplace with a good working environment and a culture characterized by openness, curiosity and a strong sense of community. We work from a shared systemic foundation.

At PUC you will have a work community with wonderful people who enjoy being and working together and who talk enthusiastically and vividly about life, profession and work – among other things.

In daily life we enrich and inspire each other both socially, cross-professionally and mono-professionally. We are proud of our cross-professional practice communities, where we work in teams, where we learn and research together. We have a high professional level, and we prioritize professional development and learning highly. Therefore there are good opportunities for competence development, including with the aim of obtaining authorization.

We also thrive through accessible leadership that shows trust, presence and attention to each individual's well-being and development.

We also have flexible working hours, the possibility of remote work, and you can have a large influence on task solving.

Many of us have been at PUC for a long time – because we like it!

Our partners

PUC is anchored in the school area under the Department of Children and Culture, where we have strong collaborations with colleagues across the municipality, including in our child-family department.

Salary and terms of employment

In principle, this is a full-time position, but fewer hours are also possible.

Salary according to applicable collective agreement and in consultation with the negotiating organization.

We prioritize flexibility in everyday life and most people take holidays during school vacations and therefore work somewhat more in the other weeks so that everything adds up.

If you are employed in a fixed-term position, it is not unlikely that opportunities for later permanent employment will arise.

Employment is in accordance with the current collective agreement and after agreement with the negotiating organization. We hope you can start on 1 January 2027 – or thereabout.
