Qualified social educator for Bostedet Chr. X's Allé - G1

Are you passionate about using your pedagogical skills in work with adults with autism, then come and join to retain and develop a safe and social everyday life, where independence, development and well-being are key words for working with the residents.

Bostedet Chr. X allé, department G, 1st floor, is looking for you who are educated as a social educator or have another relevant professional background.

You now have a unique opportunity to become part of a team consisting of 8 skilled colleagues including you. In the team we collaborate to create a meaningful and predictable daily life for our 6 residents aged 27-52 years.

The residents in G 1st floor share the common trait that they have a light to moderate need for support to master daily life. The residents can carry out most of daily activities with verbal and pedagogical support, and the majority also need help with personal hygiene.

As a communicative support tool, we use TEACCH-inspired aids and we are focused on participation and self-determination in their own lives, where together we create the best framework for well-being, development and maintenance of competences.

There is good collaboration with our residents’ relatives and they all participate in our two annual events for residents and relatives.

You will become part of a very stable, professionally engaged and strongly collaborative team. We emphasize a high degree of employee involvement, e.g., during team meetings and in professional committees. We have a focus on ensuring that employees receive relevant skills development that supports their ability to solve the core task.

• You are trained as a social educator or have another relevant professional background and want to work within the special pedagogical/autism-related field – preferably with experience from this area - you may be newly trained.
• You are passionate about working in a structured way with our residents.
• You are patient and thrive in calm, quiet and predictable environments.
• You are loyal to decisions and a team player, who also can stand on your own.
• You can stay calm when the situation requires it, even though you have several things going on.

Who are we?

Bostedet Chr. X’s Allé and Magnetens Bo-enheder consist of 12 houses, of which 9 are located on Bostedet Chr. X’s Allé, and the remaining 3 are located on other sites in the municipality.

Bostederne Chr. X’s Allé and Magnetens Bo-enheder target people with developmental disorders, cognitive impairments and diagnoses within the autism spectrum. Common to our residents is that they need support in their social life and daily activities.

Salary and employment terms

Salary and employment are according to the current agreement with SL and KL. We offer a good salary based on your qualifications.

The position is 30-37 hours, which will be placed in 24-hour on-call shifts, day, evening shifts and shifts every 2nd weekend in a fixed rotation and there may be work on Christmas Eve 2027, as holidays are in a fixed system.
