We are experiencing increasing interest from our departments to have more automation solutions developed through RPA and AI. Therefore we are now seeking a consultant for IT & Digitalisation in Vejen Municipality.

About the position

As an RPA/AI consultant you will be an important driver in translating the municipality's needs into stable and value-creating automations. You must be able to see opportunities in both RPA, integrations and AI and at the same time understand the municipal reality, where professionalism, data security and operational reliability must go hand in hand. The job is not only about technology, but also about creating solutions in the interaction between technology, professionals and business, and you thrive just as well out among the users as behind the screen.

You will among other things work with

Clarification and assessment of automation use-cases, including both RPA and AI, in close dialogue with the municipality's areas of expertise, so the right projects are prioritized and translated into solutions with real value.

Development and testing of AI-based solutions, including digital assistants and AI agents, as well as assessing where AI can be advantageously combined with classical automation. The AI area is under development with us, and you will have the opportunity to help shape the development in the municipality.

Visualization and communication of data in Microsoft Power BI, so insights are easier to understand and use in the joint prioritization of digital initiatives.

About you

You can either have a developer/IT background or have acquired corresponding competencies in another way combined with another relevant education. In addition, we place emphasis on that you:

Have experience with one or more scripting and/or programming languages, including Microsoft PowerShell, Python and HTML.

It is an advantage if you have experience with AI tools, prompt design, automation, process analysis or development of digital assistants.

Thrives with responsibility and works in a structured and efficient way

Has knowledge of data- and information security as well as governance and the AI Regulation in a municipal context

You are clear and good at communicating in Danish in writing and speaking at different organizational levels

You have experience with and can convey technical material in an easy-to-understand way

Is reliable with a focus on details, so we get automation that works reliably and efficiently

Is a team player in the Digitalisation team, where you will work with colleagues in IT operations, support and information security.

It is a requirement that you have a valid driver's license for category B.

The most important thing, however, is that you are curious and can translate technology into solutions that make sense in practice. If you lack professional competencies, we are willing to upskill you together.

Hiring process

Salary

This is a permanent position for 37 hours per week, and the position is filled in accordance with the applicable collective agreement.
