Skovboskolen seeks two qualified teachers

Want to be part of a school with a clear learning design, strong values and focus on the pupil's mindset? Then we are currently looking for a teacher mainly for a special class and a teacher mainly for upper primary. Skovboskolen - a well-run school with high ambitions At Skovboskolen we work with a well-tested teaching design inspired by True North Learning. We combine effective learning methods, clear structure and classroom management with a strong focus on relationships and the pupil's personal development.

Our goal is high academic attainment and a safe, engaging learning environment where all students can succeed.

We are looking for teachers who, for example,

• master one or more cultural subjects, English and natural sciences in upper primary
• master teaching in the school's subjects in a special class for students with general learning difficulties from year 4-6
• are development-oriented, engaged and passionate about students' learning and well-being
• can and will work based on the school's learning design and pupil mindset
• actively and positively participate in a binding team collaboration
• have a positive pupil mindset

Subjects and tasks We are seeking teachers with competencies and interest in some of the following subjects:

• Social studies, history, English and natural sciences in upper primary
• the school's subjects in a municipal special class series for students with general learning difficulties
• You may also be able to do e.g. music, Danish and mathematics

We emphasize that you

• apply research-informed didactics, e.g. co-teaching
• have high ambitions for students' academic, social and personal development
• contribute to joint planning, implementation and evaluation of teaching
• are curious about learning environments that create participation opportunities for all
• have strong relationship skills
• are motivated for professional development in the school's learning design
• preferably have special educational competencies or interest in intermediate forms

About us Skovboskolen is a value-based public school with approx. 485 students from 0-9, a special class sequence and a committed staff of 43 teachers and 17 pedagogues. The school is phase-divided with 2-3 tracks at each year level.
