Vestereng is a social-pedagogical housing and activity offering under the Danish Service Act sections 105/85/104. Here 29 residents aged 41-85 live.

We work from a recovery-oriented and habilitative approach , where the resident’s resources, wishes and possibilities are at the center. With us, the pedagogical and health-professional efforts go hand in hand, and we believe that the best solutions are created together.

At Vestereng everyone – regardless of educational background – works closely with the residents and participates in daily tasks. This means, among other things, that everyone can assist residents with personal hygiene and other daily activities. The difference lies in our professional perspectives, which we actively use to create the best possible support for each resident.

Your professional background makes a difference

As an SSA with us you will have a varied daily life with both health- and nursing-related tasks. The tasks can be complex and require both professional security, curiosity and the ability to think creatively when the usual solution is not the right one.

You become part of a fixed team, but your professional background is also used across the house. You must therefore be willing to share your knowledge, provide sparring and guide your colleagues , so that together we strengthen the health-professional efforts.

Salary and employment

The position is intended to be filled on 1/12-2026 or as soon as possible thereafter.

Salary and terms of employment are according to the sector’s collective agreement.

The position is 37 hours, but we are flexible and will as far as possible accommodate your preferences for the number of hours.

Working hours are distributed over day and evening shifts as well as every other weekend, but we will as far as possible accommodate preferences here.

In Svendborg Municipality the pay for this type of position typically ranges between 36,169 and 46,421 DKK per month for full-time employment. The salary includes pension, special holiday remuneration and fixed allowances. There may also be shift allowances and other special pays. It is important to note that your exact salary is determined by your education, experience, seniority and competencies and is negotiated with the relevant trade organization.
