Social and Health Care Assistant for Strandboligerne

Strandboligerne is part of Botilbuddene Brøndby, which consists of several 24-hour care facilities located in Brøndbyøster and Brøndby Strand.

Strandboligerne houses 38 adult residents with varying physical and mental support needs.

We work from a social-pedagogical approach with methods such as neuro-pedagogy, LA2, Low Arousal and KRAP, and we prioritise a high level of professional expertise in both healthcare and pedagogical.

With us you will join a close collaboration with an engaged and multidisciplinary team consisting of social educators, educational assistants, a healthcare coordinator, and the department's team leader.

Your tasks will include

• Responsible for residents' medication management, including overview of FMK, dispensing medications and collaborating with the house's general practitioners.
• Teaching and professional sparring with the pedagogical staff in, among other things, documentation and medication management.
• Guidance of social- and health care assistant students in close cooperation with the team and our student-responsible health care coordinator.
• Participation in professional team meetings focusing on reflection and development – both pedagogical and health care.

Working hours and framework

The position entails varying working hours distributed over day and evening shifts and working every second weekend. We plan the rota well in advance to ensure a healthy balance between work-life and private life.
