We are looking for a Social and Health Care Assistant for evening shift or day and evening shift, who would like to work with people in some of life’s most vulnerable situations. Experience from psychiatry is an advantage but not a requirement. The most important is your curiosity, your commitment and your desire to make a difference.

Who are we?

Psychiatric Ward 2 is a medically staffed reception with an intensive function. We receive adult patients with many different psychiatric issues, which provides an exciting and varied daily life with wide professional breadth.

We are a ward where cooperation means everything. Here you meet nurses, social and health care assistants, social educators, doctors, secretaries and other partners who every day work together to create the best possible patient pathways.

What will you be working with?

You will among other things

• Have a contact person function for patients during admission with a focus on relationship care
• Receive and observe patients in acute psychiatric courses
• Contribute to assessment and treatment through your clinical observations
• Work with treatment plans, coping strategies and safety plans
• Document in the Electronic Health Record (EPJ)
• Actively participate in alarm situations together with your colleagues with focus on de-escalation, safety and care

Flexible shift schedule

We use MIN TIME/MIN PLAN to make the work schedule as flexible as possible for the individual. There is an option to choose between 8-hour shifts every 2nd weekend or 12-hour shifts with every 3rd weekend off.

Salary and employment terms

Salary and employment terms are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement in the area.

With reference to the Child Certificate Act in connection with the employment of staff, etc., a child certificate will be obtained in connection with any potential employment.
