Social- and health care assistants sought for a new nursing home in Holbæk, with the possibility of both day and evening shifts

At Vandtårnsvej Nursing Home we opened our doors in April 2026, and we are seeking social and health care assistants who want to be involved from the start.

We are not looking for someone who just fits into a culture.

We know that starting at a new nursing home can be overwhelming. Therefore, we do not expect you to be able to do it all from day one. Instead, we promise that you will not be left on your own.

Your tasks

You will become an important part of daily life around the residents and will, among other things, do the following:

• Provide professional and attentive care and support.
• Take on delegated nursing tasks.
• Work with medication management, observations and documentation.
• Be a contact person for residents and relatives.
• Participate in multidisciplinary coordination, triage and planning.
• Contribute to activities, community and good experiences in daily life.
• Contribute to training and guidance of students.

Practical

The position is 37 hours per week or as agreed in day or evening shifts with work every 2nd weekend. There is a possibility for evening or day shifts.

To prevent work-related injuries, Raizer lifting chairs, Vendlet and ceiling lifts are natural aids in care.

Full-time helpers and assistants have their own iPad and smartphone as documentation tools. Temps and students have personal smartphones.

As part of the rehabilitation effort, welfare technology is prioritized. For example, digital training in home care is being developed and visits can be delivered over screen.
