Social and Healthcare Assistant for Evening Shift in Area North, Holistic Care

The Integrated Care in Area North, Gladsaxe seeks 1 engaged and professionally strong social- and health assistant for the evening shift on the Wednesday-Thursday team with weekend every other week.

We are seeking a social- and health assistant for the evening shift for Integrated Care in Gladsaxe, who wants to help create a good and pleasant working environment in a team with several new colleagues.

In Gladsaxe Municipality we have chosen to create cross-disciplinary teams with both social- and health assistants, social- and health helpers, physiotherapists, occupational therapists and nurses. Each evening shift team consists of 7 employees; 3 assistants and 4 helpers.

In 2025 we started delivering integrated care. This means that, in close collaboration with our multidisciplinary colleagues, we will increase focus on working rehabilitatively in our everyday work. We must support citizens to be as independent as possible in daily life, and they should be more involved in the support they receive. We must use our competencies and professional assessments in daily life, and practice incorporating different professional disciplines in our work with citizens. We will help each other to shine and assist in creating coherence in citizens' pathways.

Integrated Care in Gladsaxe is organized into 6 departments, each consisting of 2 day-shift teams and 2 evening-shift teams.

Since 1 January 2026 there have been two managers in the department, so there is more time to support professional development and daily professional sparring.

We are in constant development and continually work on implementing the latest knowledge and technology. We use KMD Nexus as a documentation system, and have implemented person-centered care as a management tool in our approach to citizens.

We place great emphasis on your professional skills, and therefore you will receive a good introduction with a mentoring scheme and opportunities for competence development.

We are also an education site for students and we have employees in trainee positions.

Our requirements for you

• You are trained social- and health assistant
• You have experience from home care.
• You are professionally well-grounded.
• You are used to working with IT – preferably with knowledge of Nexus, and you are thorough in your documentation.
• You can work independently and in a structured way in daily task solving.
• You have experience with, or interest in, working across professions.
• You are keen to learn new things and develop your skills.
• You take responsibility for your tasks, have an overview, and help colleagues who need it.
• You will share your knowledge.
• You take joint responsibility in creating a good and pleasant working environment.

Salary and employment conditions

The position is 37 hours per week, but if a full-time position isn't right for you, we are happy to discuss another number of hours. The evening shift is on the Wednesday-Thursday team with weekend shift every 2nd weekend in even weeks.

You will be employed under the applicable collective agreement according to the Ny Løn principles.
