Do you want to create structure, overview and new ways of acting for adults with acquired brain injury? The Center for Brain Injury Rehabilitation (CHR) is seeking a colleague for the neuro-pedagogical team for social-pedagogical support under the Danish Social Services Act § 85 in the citizen's own home. You can start on January 1, 2027, when our current colleague moves to a new team in the center.

Together with the citizen you develop meaningful strategies to manage life after the brain injury. Relationships and individually tailored support are the focus of your autonomous work, and you can receive professional sparring in the multidisciplinary team.

Your professional expertise in the citizen's daily life

• You translate the authority's overall aims into concrete goals and actions together with the citizen, based on the citizen's resources and support needs.
• You plan and follow up on the support process with the citizen, so the goals of the intervention connect to the citizen's daily life.
• You help the citizen create structure and overview and find strategies to deal with everyday challenges in their own home.
• You support and guide the citizen in concrete issues and possible actions and involve relatives and relevant partners in the § 85 process.
• You collaborate with colleagues and external professionals to create coherence in the citizen's § 85 efforts.

We are looking for you who want to work with relationships and neuropedagogy

• You are educated as a pedagogue or have another relevant neuropedagogical qualification.
• You have experience in the brain injury field or a strong interest in neuropedagogy. Experience with neuropedagogy is an advantage, and we offer peer mentoring and professional sparring.
• You are curious about neuropedagogical methods and how compensatory strategies can become concrete support in the citizen's daily life.
• You convey guidance so that it makes sense to the citizen, and you collaborate with relatives and relevant professionals on the individual support.
• You work independently and structurally in the citizen's own home and tailor the support with respect for the citizen's wishes and life situation.
• You contribute to professional development, share your reflections in the team and engage in the multidisciplinary collaboration.
• You back up joint decisions and follow the agreed procedures.
• You build good relationships and use your creativity to motivate and find ways that fit the individual citizen.

A valid driver's license is a condition of employment.

You support adults over 18 with cognitive difficulties and possibly physical or personality changes after acquired brain injury. With a neuropedagogical approach you translate the citizen's resources, needs and goals into actionable options and compensating strategies in § 85 support. The aim is mastery and active participation in daily life.

You will be employed by Guldborgsund Genoptræning under the Center for Health and Care, as CHR is transferred to the Region on January 1, 2027.

You will be based at Møllebakken 9 in Nykøbing and will primarily be part of the neuropedagogical team. You will also have colleagues who are speech therapists, ICT, voice and hearing consultants, as well as occupational and physical therapists. Your work is to support the citizen at home and in daily life under § 85.

The position is by default 37 hours per week, but we are flexible regarding working hours.

Employment terms: According to the applicable collective agreement. Start on January 1, 2027 or as soon as possible.
