Social pedagogue sought for UNO at Job- og Aktivitetscenter Vestegnen (JAC)

Are you passionate about giving citizens the best conditions for a good day, and do you like to be active, but also able to create a space with calm – then you have the opportunity to become part of Uno.

We are a small group of young citizens, with significant development potential.

We are three pedagogues who in the past year have worked to plan a good offer for citizens who benefit from familiar routines in daily life and who enjoy movement – preferably outdoors. We are still developing and you will have the opportunity to put your mark on Uno. We are an offering in a large organization, and we participate in joint events to the extent that the citizens in Uno benefit from it. If we do not hit the needs and wishes of the citizens, they let us know – and we adjust.

We are looking for a colleague who

• Is professionally well-founded – preferably with experience and insight into the target group
• Has great patience, interaction and presence with citizens who at times may have maladaptive coping strategies
• Can keep their feet solidly on the ground, even when the waves are high
• Has good energy, initiates activities and follows them through
• Has a flair for working with high/low arousal, conflict management and prevention of inappropriate behavior
• Recognizes that we are employed for both collaboration and professionalism – and works proactively from it
• Feels comfortable with written work and documentation
• Can see themselves taking part in tasks related to personal care
• Is willing to help shape Uno's daily life and future in collaboration with us
• Very preferably has a standard driver\'s license and willingness to take the wheel when we go on trips

JAC Vestegnen is a large organization with several professional groups, which provides good opportunities for broad sparring across. We work with sensory integration, KRAP and a neuro-pedagogical approach as a framework for understanding. You will quickly feel that you are part of a larger professional community with common morning meetings across groups, planned joint meetings and theme days, etc.

What you can look forward to

• A diverse workday in a self-managing team, where you share responsibility for both the professional collaboration and the pedagogical offering to the citizens
• Working hours on weekdays from 8:00 to 16:00, team meetings once a month until 18:00 and occasional joint meetings during the year for the entire organization

Salary and terms: Salary and employment terms are agreed individually according to the applicable collective agreement.

The position is, as a rule, full-time 37 hours per week, but there may be an opportunity to agree on something else if you wish. The position is wanted to be filled from 1 November or as soon as possible.
