Social pedagogue or other bachelor-educated social worker

Family Center - Unit for Treatment and Therapy - Children and Youth is urgently seeking pedagogues or staff with another social science bachelor degree for a permanent position and a fixed-term position.

The Unit for Treatment and Therapy - Children and Youth is primarily a service for normally intelligent children and adolescents with mental health challenges, their parents/family and families who are challenged within autism spectrum disorders.

The Unit for Treatment and Therapy - Children and Youth currently has 15 practitioners employed, most are pedagogues, but among the staff there are also occupational therapists and teachers. We strive for an even distribution of men and women to meet the target group's needs and wishes. We work with freedom under responsibility and plan our own calendars according to the service users' needs. This means that you can expect to work outside normal office hours two to three days a week.

We are not looking for the finished practitioner but rather a person who is willing to examine themselves, accept feedback and use their own reactions as a basis for learning. In the Unit for Treatment and Therapy - Children and Youth, personal development is a prerequisite for our professionalism. Therefore you will continually receive professional guidance, collegial sparring and supervision.

We expect, as a therapist

• to be pedagogically creative and able to see opportunities rather than limitations.
• to have psychiatric experience and preferably with knowledge of autism spectrum disorders.
• to have a relational-pedagogical approach and psychodynamic understanding.
• to have self-understanding, both in relation to your own resources and work points.

• where and how you experience that you can/cannot use your pedagogical abilities and why you think your abilities are valuable?

The positions are 37 hours, unless otherwise requested.

The fixed-term position ends 1 July 2027.

It is a prerequisite that you have a category B driver's license.
