Syddansk Sundhedsinnovation is seeking two project staff (maternity leave replacements) for international projects

Syddansk Sundhedsinnovation is seeking a project assistant for international projects in the Unit for User-Centered Innovation.

About the job

You will become part of the Unit for User-Centered Innovation, which works with larger European Joint Actions in the health field. In the role you will, among other things, be responsible for:

• coordinating work packages with partners from several countries
• planning and conducting workshops with hospitals, researchers and patient organisations
• ensuring coherence in the collaboration across countries and sectors
• contributing to translating EU requirements into realistic project plans and concrete deliverables
• contributing to evaluation, reporting and dissemination of results to professionals, politicians and civil society

You will play a central role in ensuring progress in the projects. You will take responsibility for your own work packages, follow up on agreements with partners and support the project leader with, among other things, user surveys and reporting.

Your profile

We expect you to have a relevant academic education, for example in health sciences, political science, public health or a related social or health-related field.

You have experience with project coordination or project management. The experience can come from employment, study projects or internships, and it is advantageous if you have worked with international projects or in the health sector.

You express yourself clearly and precisely in both Danish and English, in writing as well as spoken, and you are used to communicating technical content to different audiences.

In your work you base yourself on users' needs. You ask rather than assume, and you understand that a nurse in Poland and a patient in Denmark may have different perspectives. You are used to working with multiple stakeholders and can collaborate across disciplines and countries. When frameworks and requirements change, you are able to create an overview, prioritise and find practical solutions together with the project manager and other partners.

It is not essential that you have many years of experience. The important thing is that you have a solid foundation in project work, strong analytical abilities and a desire to work with international project management in practice.

Salary and terms of employment

This is a two maternity-leave temporary position on a full-time basis, expected to run through December 2027, with the workplace in Forskerparken in Odense. Your working hours will be governed by the region's flexitime scheme.

The region is obliged to inform you of the starting salary for the positions. You will be told the base salary, centrally set allowances and pension under the academics collective agreement. In addition to the starting salary, the salary may include any negotiated allowances depending on the positions, your experience and qualifications.
