Nurse sought for the Health Service in Kalundborg Municipality

In Kalundborg Municipality's Health Service we are seeking a licensed nurse for a 32-hour-per-week temporary position with start as soon as possible.

This is a temporary position with appointment until 30 June 2027. The appointment is made in accordance with the applicable guidelines for dispensation for nurses working in health visiting. There may be a possibility of extending the appointment if the dispensation is extended.

About the position

Your primary tasks will be

• Advice on health in individual conversations with children, adolescents and their families in the municipality's services for children and young people with overweight, Sund Sammen
• School screenings focusing on vision, height and weight
• Documentation in NOVAX
• Interdisciplinary collaboration with schools, PPR and other partners

You will receive thorough introduction to the tasks and close sparring from experienced colleagues.

• Is a licensed nurse and meets the requirements to work as a nurse in health visiting under dispensation

About Sund Sammen

Sund Sammen is Kalundborg Municipality's offering for children and adolescents with overweight. The program focuses on healthy habits, well-being, exercise and communities. The initiative is based on a holistic approach in which the family is actively involved, and where changes are created through motivation, support and small steps in everyday life.

About the Health Service

The Health Service is part of the Professional Center for Children, Learning and Education in Kalundborg Municipality and works with early, preventive and health-promoting efforts for children, adolescents and families. We attach great importance to quality, professional development and close collaboration with the municipality's other areas.

The workplace is Kalundborg Health and Emergency House at Nørre Allé 31, 4400 Kalundborg.

Practical information

The position is a fixed-term temporary position of 32 hours per week until 30 June 2027. There may be a possibility of extending the appointment if the dispensation to work as a nurse in health visiting is extended.

Travel within the municipality is expected, so a driver's license and own car are required.

Salary and terms of employment according to the applicable collective agreement.
