Two educators for Æblehaven's nursery – presence, play and professional community

Do you want to work with the youngest children in a place where you can share your professional reflections with colleagues and help develop everyday life? At Æblehaven we are looking for two pedagogues for the toddler room.

A common direction with room for your professional contributions

Æblehaven is a children's house with about 150 children distributed across 10 rooms in the nursery and kindergarten. We are inspired by the NEST principles and work with safe relationships, recognizability, and inclusive learning environments where all children can thrive and participate.

In the nursery, we are close to the children and focused on their different needs. We follow their initiatives and create frameworks that support both first contact, shared play, and the courage to explore.

Together with your colleagues you explore what the group of children needs, and how you best plan the everyday life. Close collaboration with the parents is an important part of the task.

• Is a trained pedagogue and wants to work with the youngest children’s well-being, play and development.
• Is present and clear and can create secure relationships with children and parents.
• Is professionally curious and will share your reflections and ideas with the colleagues.
• Takes responsibility for your tasks and contributes to collaboration in the room and in the house.

You will become part of a collegial community where we value helpfulness, knowledge sharing, and humor.

We help you get started well

When you start, you will receive a thorough introduction to the house, the room, and your tasks. You will have a fixed colleague to spar with, and we follow up with status meetings, so there is room for your questions and to talk about how you settle into the work.

Practical information

Both positions are full-time with commencement on January 1, 2027 or earlier if possible.

Salary and terms of employment are determined in accordance with the applicable collective agreement and the Ny Løn principles. In connection with employment, we collect child and criminal records as well as references from previous employment.
