Three special consultants/consultants for Uddannelse København (4-year appointments and one maternity leave cover)

About the position

In Uddannelse København we are looking for two senior consultants/consultants and a consultant for the maternity leave cover in the Recruitment and Execution department. In the department you will be part of the daily operations. All positions are 37 hours per week. Two of them are four-year positions and one is a maternity leave position.

Your tasks will include, among others

• independently conducting recruitment interviews with different types of vocational education students
• contribute to retaining students based on various initiatives
• carry out, plan and facilitate various student activities and presentations
• participate in a duty roster where you have telephone and email contact primarily with students and partners
• handle cases related to students' not-approved probation, long-term absence, leave, breach of contract and termination of education agreements
• hold absence interviews and other complex conversations.

Your final task portfolio will be composed based on a dialogue about your and nearby colleagues' competencies.

To succeed in the position it is essential that you

• have a relevant academic education and experience with the above tasks
• quickly can grasp new tasks and create an overview
• independently can take initiative to ensure progress in the tasks you are part of
• can communicate concretely and clearly both orally and in writing
• can advise and guide relevant partners
• can advise and guide students in relation to retention in education
• have experience with facilitation and teaching
• have strong IT skills.

You are also good at building relations, creative and have good collaborative skills. You are willing to take on diverse tasks, as we are a department in continual development. We have a large range of touchpoints, which means you must be inclusive and approachable. We see it as an advantage if you have previously worked in a municipality and have a good understanding of the organization.

A bit about us

We are 50 engaged employees and leaders with many different professional profiles. We are organized into three departments and a management secretariat. Organizationally we are anchored in the Health and Care Administration in the City of Copenhagen. We have an administration-wide function, which means that we are responsible for pupils and students in internships across all administrations in the municipality.

We therefore have many collaboration interfaces both internally in Uddannelse København, internally in the City of Copenhagen, externally with educational institutions and other partners, and not least with our many pupils and students.

The City of Copenhagen has pupils employed from at least 14 different vocational education programs, and we have internship programs for students from eight different professional bachelor programs and for one university program.

We are based in premises near Østerfælled Torv. Our physical setup consists of several smaller office communities, where we have easy access to sparring with each other. Pupils, students, educational supervisors, counselors and other partners also frequent our house.

We offer lunch and fruit schemes. We have a creative activity committee, and we place a high priority on the working environment. We have closed days at Christmas/new year and around Easter when everyone takes holidays. Home working is an ad hoc option by agreement with the nearest manager, the starting point is that we all come to the office. We strive to ensure that the weekly working hours are observed, and that it is possible to truly take time off when you leave the office. This means that working hours are within the daily working time. Uddannelse København has a smoke-free working day.

In Recruitment and Execution, which you will be part of, we are 15 employees who report to the department head. Our task portfolio is diverse, but the overarching focus of our primary tasks consists of initiatives that ensure professional recruitment and execution as well as development and operation of student-oriented activities.

Conditions of employment

The positions are 37 hours per week. We expect that you can commence the position on 1 January 2027. As part of the recruitment process we will obtain references. Salary and terms of employment will be agreed in accordance with the applicable collective agreement.
