Two pedagogues with music in their blood for the KKFO at the School on Amagerbro

Do you have music in you – and pedagogy in your heart? Then maybe you are the one we are looking for.

We are looking for two qualified pedagogues for our KKFO at Skolen på Amagerbro. The positions are 30 hours per week with start on December 1, 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter.

With us you don’t just get a job. You become part of a strong pedagogical community where, every day, we work to ensure that the children experience a safe, fun and meaningful everyday life – both during the school day and when leisure time begins.

And we have something we think is pretty cool – we have our own music room!

Therefore we are seeking pedagogues who have musical experiences, interests or competencies, and who want to let music fill more of the children's daily life.

But let’s make one thing clear

• First and foremost, you must be a good pedagogue
• Music is your profile – pedagogy is your foundation

Maybe you are the one to bring sound to our KKFO?

You don’t need to be conservatory educated or able to play 14 instruments.

Maybe you play guitar. Maybe you sing. Maybe you create electronic music, beats or music production. Maybe you have played in a band. Maybe you love standing with a group of children around a drum set. Or perhaps you simply have a strong musical interest and a desire to explore what music can do for children.

The most important thing is that you want to use music together with children.

Our music room should not be a place where children only may look at instruments. It should be a place where they can experiment, create, play, sing, listen, collaborate and perhaps discover a whole new side of themselves.

You will therefore have the opportunity to help develop our music activities – and maybe create something we do not yet know we are missing.

We have a formal collaboration with the music school.

Who are we?

KKFO'en is part of Skolen på Amagerbro and has about 180 children aged 6-10 years.

We have our own rooms at the school and a close collaboration between school and after-school care. We work to ensure that children experience their day as a coherent whole, where the adults around them work together for their well-being, development and learning.

We focus among other things on

• Well-being and safety
• Learning at child’s height
• Language and communication
• Design and technological understanding
• Strong working communities
• Communities and participation opportunities for all children
• Collaboration with local associations and leisure activities

And we believe that pedagogy can also be creative, playful, experimental – and a little loud.

Your daily life with us

In the school part you will be part of a year-group team and have a close connection to a specific class. Here you use your pedagogical expertise in collaboration with teachers and other pedagogues.

In the afternoon you become part of KKFO's community, where the children themselves should be able to choose, play, immerse themselves and be together with others.

Here you can, among other things, help develop activities within music – but also all the other things that make a KKFO come alive.

Even though you may become “our music pedagogue,” you will obviously also be able to build with LEGO, resolve conflicts, play football, be creative, comfort a child, start a game and be the adult who is just there when a child needs you.

• are a trained pedagogue and primarily see yourself as a pedagogue
• have a musical interest, experience or competence that you want to bring into play
• can build strong and trusting relationships with children
• see diversity as a strength and work inclusively
• can plan, implement and evaluate pedagogical activities
• want to collaborate closely with both teachers, pedagogues and parents
• are curious about your own practice and want to develop professionally
• are flexible, robust and can maintain an overview when things are fast-paced
• communicate clearly and respectfully – both orally and in writing
• have humor and the desire to be an active part of a work community

Employment terms

Salary and terms of employment according to the applicable collective agreement and within the framework of local pay formation.

The positions are 30 hours per week with start 1 December 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter.

Our opening hours on school days are 06:00–08:00 and 13:00–17:00 and holidays and school days off 07:00–17:00.

From May to August a large part of the working time is in the morning, as during this period we offer full-day provision for the upcoming school starters. The appointment is on an annual basis, so the hourly rate may vary throughout the year.

In connection with the appointment we will obtain a child and criminal background check as well as references.
