We are seeking an engaged vocational teacher for our VVS education. As a vocational teacher you will teach and guide our students and apprentices. You will become part of a fantastic team that collaborates to develop and deliver inspiring teaching that meets the latest knowledge and ensures that our students and apprentices are well prepared for their future careers as plumbers.

We keep up with the latest trends and standards within the industry, therefore your future as a vocational teacher will also offer opportunities to develop your own competencies. We work from the principle that we are a team that helps and complements each other with solving the tasks. Therefore you will not be left alone with the challenges that arise along the way. You can look forward to pursuing the diploma programme in educational pedagogy, which will be part of your work in the coming years and will provide a solid foundation for your future role as a vocational teacher.

We imagine that you are well equipped with

• apprenticeship certificate as a plumber and preferably with a further qualification as installer or other.
• relevant professional experience from the industry.
• the desire to teach others and work with young people.
• any experience with leading young people – either as person responsible for apprentices in your company, voluntary trainer or something else entirely.

About the employment

The position is full-time with salary and employment according to the Ministry of Education's regulations for a civil-service-like position. In addition there is an 18% pension scheme. Remuneration is on the basis salary scale steps 1-7.
