Are you an educator with a passion for play, relationships and strong communities of children , then you are the one we are looking for for our kindergarten . You can help shape the framework for the good childhood at Kometen near Brabrand's nature and not far from Aarhus city center.

We are a small integrated institution with 20 kindergarten children distributed across two rooms and 22 nursery children , which are also divided into two rooms. The staff team is broadly represented with both experienced and new people. We enjoy each other and have great respect for each other's competencies. We believe that children do the best they can, and it is us adults who create the framework for safe development.

The position is 37 hours from 1 December 2026, but we also happily wait for the right person – whether you are experienced or newly trained.

We are looking for

• A structured pedagogue for the kindergarten with an eye for community, a desire for professional development and quality in the pedagogical work.
• Someone who sees the value of professional collaboration in an integrated institution, where we together ensure the good everyday life for all our children in Kometen.
• You who want to join our strong learning community around the children with focus on close teamwork and constructive parent cooperation.

We are looking for someone who wants to play, turn things on their head and have fun. Rhyme with silly words and be a linguistic role model, so it becomes easier to put words to actions and feelings. Someone who sees the value in being immersed in the children's play and being ”beside” when friendship troubles. We are looking for someone who wants to enter our interdisciplinary collaboration with other professions such as PPR and Child Therapy.

Someone who wants to be part of our reflective approach to practice, and our structured everyday life, which provides room for learning environments and budding friendships.

Salary and employment terms

Salary and employment terms will be in accordance with the applicable collective agreement. Final salary setting takes place after negotiation with the bargaining organization on the basis of qualifications, unless the position is covered by a pre-agreement, which can form the basis for salary setting

The position is from 1 December 2026, but we are happy to wait for the right person and will conduct ongoing interviews.

Weekly hours: The position is in principle 37 hours with the possibility of adjustment according to your life circumstances.

About us

Kometen is one of the 10 departments in Brabrandsøen Daycare. We are a small integrated institution with two nursery groups and two kindergarten groups. We have 20 kindergarten children and 22 nursery children; distributed across two nursery groups and two kindergarten groups.

We currently have 11 dedicated staff members and a pedagogical leader who are close to the children and their families. The children with us come from the districts of Engdalskolen and Sødalskolen, and we have wonderful parents and an active parent council that are positive players in everyday life.
