Then we have a maternity cover in UPA 2, where you will become part of a professionally engaged work community with a focus on citizen involvement

In UPA 2 we work with young people aged 18-29. We handle new applications and follow up on existing interventions in close dialogue with the citizens, their networks and relevant partners.

About UPA 2

UPA is an abbreviation for vulnerability, mental health difficulties and autism spectrum disorders. In UPA 2 we work purposefully with young people who need support in one or more of these areas.

We work, among other things, with support under the Danish Services Act sections 82, 84, 85, 97, 103, 104, 105, 107 and 108.

In our work we start from the individual citizen’s wishes, needs and overall life situation. We listen to what the citizen wants for their life, and work together with the citizen to find solutions that support development, independence and quality of life.

Your role as caseworker

As a social worker in UPA 2 you will work with holistic statutory case management and coordination of interventions. You will have your own case load and follow citizens through assessment, decisions and follow-up.

Your main tasks will be, that

  • advise and guide citizens and their relatives

  • process applications and make decisions on support under the Services Act

We are looking for you who

  • are a trained social worker or social mediator
  • can translate legislation and professional assessments into clear and well-founded decisions
  • meet citizens and relatives with respect, empathy and professionalism
  • work in a structured way and can maintain an overview of different cases, deadlines and collaboration interfaces
  • have an eye for the citizen’s overall life situation and can coordinate interventions across sectors
  • communicate clearly and understandably both verbally and in writing

It is advantageous if you have experience with authority work in the adult area or knowledge of the target group, but the most important is that you want to bring your social work into play and actively contribute to the professional community.

Why you should choose us

With us you become part of a professionally engaged work community where we help each other solve complex cases and create good solutions for the citizens.

We offer

  • ongoing sparring with professional coordinators and colleagues
  • opportunity for professional development and deepening

  • a workplace where we prioritise professional reflection, quality and citizen involvement
  • an introduction to the tasks and the target group
  • colleagues who emphasise both professionalism, collaboration and a good workday
