Arham seeks an active adult friend who is ready to participate in fun and stimulating activities.
About Arham
Arham is a happy outgoing boy of 6 years who lives with autism and ADHD. He lives with his mother and two older brothers in Brøndbyøster, and although he has a very limited speech, he understands most things when spoken to. He values his time with others and is good at communicating via body language and a few words, which makes it important for his helper to read his signals and form a trusting relationship.
You will become an important adult friend in Arham's life.
As a helper you will take Arham on trips to the swimming pool, visit the library and play on the playground. We are looking for someone with experience with children, preferably with special needs, who is patient and empathetic. You must be active and engaged, as well as willing to learn and adapt to Arham's needs. Building a trusting relationship will be central in your work, as you will have a meaningful and inspiring role where you can make a difference in Arham's life.
Employment and shifts
The position is 9 hours per week, usually distributed over three shifts planned with the mother.
One shift is usually planned on weekdays from around 17:00, while the other shifts will be on either Saturday or Sunday as a starting point.
