About the job with us

Albertslund Family House has been expanded with two positions at 37 hours per week. A permanent position and a temporary position of 1.5 years.

In the Family House we are 27 employees, who mainly have a basic education as social workers, social educators or psychologists.

The temporary position is primarily aimed at the role of contact person, where we also focus on family work.

The permanent position is primarily aimed at intensive and complicated cases, where we are close to families with children aged 0-12 years, with a special focus on the children’s wellbeing and development.

In addition to the primary tasks, there is an opportunity to take other tasks in the house, such as counseling processes, crisis talks, etc.

For both positions, it applies that we place emphasis on close cooperation with the authorities sector, health services, day care and schools, and other relevant partners.

Our efforts are adapted to the individual families’ challenges and the concrete situation. Most youth programs often take place in or outside the Family House once a week, and often extend over 1.5 years. In more complicated cases we can meet 2-3 times a week either at home or in the Family House. These programs often last 1 – 1.5 years.

We prefer a staff member who

• has a pedagogical, social work or similar basic education
• has relevant continuing education
• has experience with treatment work
• has experience working with families with complex problems
• is good at working independently and good at expressing themselves in writing
• is good at creating collaboration with families, networks and partners

We work with many different tasks, and therefore we view positively if you have experience in working with one or more of the following areas: ASF, ADHD, psychiatry, crisis-trauma care and violent or sexual abuse. It is also an advantage if you have experience working with families from different ethnic backgrounds.

It is important that you are flexible regarding working hours on weekdays to the extent that the families need it. Although not often, there may be work early in the morning and/or in the evening during certain periods. There is no weekend work.
