A bit about us

We are a Regional offering and part of the Autism Center Southern Denmark. Here we offer §108 services to adult citizens who need very special support to navigate in everyday life.

In the Center we focus on professional development and you will as part of this attend our internal professional training for 6 days.

House A is a highly specialised 24-hour facility with 14 places. The citizens are aged 31-39 years and several thrive best with 1:1 support. All citizens have varying degrees of autism and developmental disorders, and they all need guidance and support regarding their social, emotional and behavioral development.

We work closely with House C and the Workshop, which are located on the same site. Most of the residents have a day service at our internal activities and social program.

With 20 residents and about 85 staff on site, we are a place with plenty of life and fun.

We help each other across daily life and we value high psychological safety in our collaboration.

Who are you?

• A highly competent Social and Health Assistant
• We would like you to have knowledge of the target group and a professionally grounded approach.
• You are the type who always meets people with a smile, curiosity and a huge amount of patience.
• In addition you can work in a structured and present way and you have the ability to maintain an overview even when everything is running at full gear.
• You can handle personal care and the citizens' individual support needs with a calm smile on your lips – as it is a natural part of the job.
• Citizens will greatly appreciate that you have a driver's license.

You will have some special tasks

• Medication management
• Medication dosing
• Training of colleagues
• Co-responsible for implementing guidelines and hygiene instructions
• Coordinator for health plans
• Contact with doctors and hospitals

The practical

Working hours vary and alternate between day/evening and weekend work in the time frame 7:00-22:30. Salary and employment terms follow the applicable collective agreement (so no surprises there). You will receive a detailed intro plan, so you are not thrown in at the deep end from day one – we will hold your hand (not literally).

And of course we will obtain a criminal record check.
