Pedagogue sought for play and active afternoons in Søborg

Do you want to use your pedagogical expertise in a everyday life with movement, play and close companionship? We are looking for a pedagogue for a curious and active 7-year-old boy who needs structure and calm, clear support after school.

About the task

A trip to the football field, a jump on the trampoline or a game of UNO at home. The boy enjoys many different activities, and you should be keen to take initiative and be actively involved in the play. He is a sweet and charming boy, articulate, motorically skilled and eager to learn new things.

You pick him up from school and take him home. From there you will together decide what the afternoon should offer. At home you can, among other things, play PlayStation, play in the garden or use the playroom in the basement. He also enjoys trips to mountain bike and skateboard tracks, walks and other outings.

The boy has ADHD, restlessness and impulsive behaviour. He has a low frustration tolerance and can have unpredictable emotional outbursts. You help create a clear framework for the afternoon and meet him with calm and clarity when things become difficult.

About you

You are a trained pedagogue and have experience with children with ADHD and special pedagogy work. You can create structure and use your pedagogical tools to support the boy when he becomes frustrated or has difficulty finding calm.

You want to participate in the activities and can combine his energy and ideas with clear frameworks. You listen to his wishes, are patient and can adapt the activities to what he needs on the given day.

Working hours

The position is 10 hours per week distributed over three afternoons

• Monday 13:00–16:00
• Wednesday 14:00–17:00
• Thursday 14:00–18:00

If one of the days doesn’t fit, Tuesday may be an option as an alternative. The concrete time is agreed.
