Business Consultant for Business Service

Can you translate complex citizen journeys into meaningful and realistic pathways in collaboration with companies?

Can you see what it takes to create development and progression for citizens with challenges other than unemployment—and at the same time assess when there is a need to adjust the efforts or try new possibilities? And are you the type who takes responsibility for the process, creates momentum and follows through on an agreement to the very end?

Then you may be our new business consultant in Frederikssund Municipality.

Your tasks

You will play a central role in the business-oriented effort and work closely with the citizen, company and caseworker. Your task is to translate the citizen's resources and accommodations into realistic opportunities on the labor market – and together with citizens and companies find solutions that can actually work in practice.

With us, business service is more than creating contact between citizen and company. We expect you to take professional responsibility for the business-oriented process. You take initiative, respond quickly, follow up consistently and adjust the effort when something does not work.

You must be able to build a professional relationship with the companies while also being willing to be clear with both the citizen, the company and partners when new solutions are needed or another next step.

You should, among other things

• clarify and develop the citizen's work capacity in close dialogue with the citizen, company and caseworker
• establish, arrange and follow up on company internships and other business-oriented programs
• support retention, gradual return to work, partial return to work and full return to work
• explore opportunities for new job functions or sectors when returning to previous work is not realistic
• secure progression in the programs and respond when a program does not develop as expected
• contribute your business- and labor market-related assessment in the interdisciplinary collaboration around the citizen.

You have daily contact with the companies through in-person meetings, by phone and digitally, and part of the workday therefore takes place at the workplaces. It is an advantage if you have your own car that you are willing to use in the job.

We are looking for someone who

• has a social work education or social work experience from a similar position
• has experience with business-oriented employment work and preferably with citizens with health limitations
• has a strong labor-market professional understanding and can translate professional assessments into concrete actions
• is strong in writing, both in journaling and report writing
• works independently, takes initiative and creates progress – even when the case is complex, or the obvious solution does not exist
• is clear and professional in collaboration with citizens, companies and colleagues
• works in a structured way and ensures that agreements, documentation and follow-up are handled promptly
• has good digital skills and works securely in relevant professional systems. Familiarity with Fasit, Viktor app, SUMMA and Dialog Support is an advantage
• actively contributes to the team's professional knowledge through sparring, knowledge sharing and constructive collaboration.

Employment terms

Employment is full-time, 37 hours.

Salary according to the applicable collective agreement.

Employment starts from January 1, 2027.

Salary and employment terms are determined according to the applicable collective agreement, including the provisions related to local pay formation.
