Counselor for Jobvejen – with practical work as a path to employment

Can you plan practical work and create a community where job seekers contribute and develop their competencies? Do you also want to help test how the public benefit program can open doors to paid jobs? Then you might be our new colleague at Jobvejen.

At the Center for Job and Education we believe that people develop through concrete tasks, clear expectations and communities where their contributions clearly make a difference. Jobvejen is based at Kejserdal and handles tasks both here and at other public workplaces. You will plan tasks for both job-ready citizens and citizens farther from the labor market – also citizens with limited or no Danish language skills.

About the job

Together with your colleagues you plan and carry out practical programs in the public benefit initiative. You enter into agreements with public workplaces about suitable tasks and create a structured workday with clear instruction and room for different prerequisites. In daily work you gain insight into each individual's competencies and possibilities for moving forward. As a smaller part of the job you will help test job creation, job matching and job placement.

You seek out employers, investigate possibilities for paid tasks and match citizens' competencies with employers' needs. The goal is to test how the public benefit program can lead to ordinary paid hours or a job.

Salary and employment terms

The position is 37 hours per week with start as soon as possible.

You will be hired as one of two colleagues at Jobvejen, which is part of the Competence Center based in Humlebæk. Jobvejen is part of the Department of Jobs and Retention, which consists of 25 employees located both at Fredensborg City Hall and the Competence Center.

Your workplace will be the Competence Center, Humlebækvej 64B, 3480 Fredensborg.

Employment is in accordance with the applicable collective agreement with pay according to qualifications and in line with the principles of Ny Løn. We have flexible working hours.

You must have a driver's license, and it is an advantage if you can drive a minibus and trailer.

We expect to hold the employment interviews as early as Tuesday, 24 November 2026 in the morning.
