Social workers with a strong employment-focused profile sought for the sickness benefits area

We are in full swing developing our sickness benefit effort and internal offerings. We therefore seek 3 new colleagues for the sickness benefit area.

The Center for Employment in Faxe Municipality has about 100 employees spread across 2 physical addresses in Haslev. We work daily to service companies with the workforce they demand, and support citizens in becoming self-sufficient. We believe in the citizens and in everyone’s desire to be part of the work community.

The vacant positions are placed in the Sick Pay Department, where you will become part of a department with 23 engaged and skilled colleagues, all working with sickness benefit processes. In addition, the professional development is supported by a professional coordinator. Two cross-cutting subject specialists are also anchored in the department.

The positions are full-time, 37 hours per week, with expected appointment on January 1, 2027.

About the job

Our core task is to ensure that citizens receive the right support in their process toward returning to the labor market. We support with the right interventions, at the right time and always with the labor market in focus. Thus, we support the center’s overall core task ”to get as many as possible, as much as possible in education or employment”

We place ourselves at the disposal with proactive case handling at workplaces where it makes sense to collaborate with us to reduce short- and long-term sickness absence. In daily practice you will conduct legally required conversations in the sickness benefits area with a strong focus on involving employers. The conversations take a methodical starting point in Motivational Interviewing (MI).

You coordinate citizens’ processes, both regarding their pathways with internal business counsellors, internal mastery efforts, other actors, treatment programs, etc. If you bring the right competencies, there may also be an opportunity for you to help shape and drive internal initiatives.

Your profile

You have a education as a social worker or social facilitator.

It is an advantage if you have experience with the target groups of the Job Center and preferably from the sickness benefits area. The ideal candidate has experience from either a job center or from a supplier to the employment effort.

It is important that you can see opportunities for the individual, believe in the sick-listed person’s path back to employment, are focused on good citizen service and, like us, are curious about existing and future AI solutions.

There is a need for you to thrive with the deadlines and tight timeframes that exist in the area. Additionally, it is important that you in the job can demonstrate decisiveness, independence, and that you thrive working in a results-oriented and innovative way.

Because we work with development of our own internal offerings, we would like to hear about your other experiences, e.g. metacognitive method. We also welcome your experience with the use of AI and digital solutions in employment efforts.

Salary and employment terms

Salary and employment terms in accordance with the applicable collective agreement and after agreement with the negotiating organization.
