About the job

Are you passionate about giving children the best possible conditions to succeed? And do you think it would be exciting to be part of the process of expanding our base group? Then this is the right position for you! 😊

We are looking for a new colleague for our base offering (the Rhubarb group), with a start on December 1, as we are in full swing expanding our special offering with an additional group. Furthermore, the Regnbuen Daycare Institution is a large, nice and new day care facility in Glostrup. At present the institution houses four toddler groups, four preschool groups and a base offering.

Our professional foundation rests on systemic theory and we take care to meet each child with warmth, care and recognition. The relational is our foundation. It is hard, fun and rewarding.

We are proud of our work and we look forward to inviting you to join our working community.

The Rhubarb Group

Our base offering is a special educational provision for approximately 10 children with socio-emotional difficulties, autism spectrum disorders or general learning difficulties. You will become part of a skilled team together with approximately 4 pedagogical colleagues, where you have two group rooms and a shared room. We work holistically with the children's well-being and development. The children have been assigned here through the municipality's visitation committee, which takes place twice a year.

You will become an active participant in the visitation process, become the primary responsible educator for specific children and work purposefully and systematically with the children's individual action plans in collaboration with your colleagues and with sparring from management and our multidisciplinary team.

As a pedagogue in the base offering you will be part of a team that works with

  • Structure and predictability: Visual support and clear boundaries.
  • Relational work: Attentive adult contact and social training.
  • Individual preparation time every week
  • Weekly group sparring – in the form of either a staff meeting, supervision, sparring in a multidisciplinary team
  • Collaborations across a broad multidisciplinary field around the children

Regnbuen's values

We work with a resource-oriented approach to children and parents and we repeatedly bring the child’s perspective to the fore as the guideline for our pedagogical work.

At Regnbuen we are professionally brave, we dare to wonder, be curious and critically reflect on our own and each other's practice. We use, among others, TOPI, ICDP, LØFT and the language ladder as part of our working methods.

You don't need to know everything, but you should know the most important things!

You should, like us, know that relational work is your strongest card.

You should have knowledge and interest in working socio-pedagogically with an inclusive perspective.

You should be interested in developing yourself and your knowledge in collaboration with your colleagues, management and multidisciplinary partners.

Regnbuen offers

  • Professionally competent and ambitious colleagues with a high level of reflection, and the courage to look at each other’s and one’s own practice
  • A workplace with a positive and appreciative atmosphere
  • A professional work community where we lift the core task together in unity.
  • Opportunities for professional development and sparring with colleagues and management.
  • A completely new, nice building.
  • A good working environment where we continually work together to make Regnbuen the world's best place to work.
  • We offer ICDP training (certification)
  • Interdisciplinary collaboration around our children and families in vulnerable positions
  • A house with diversity
  • Leadership close to practice

Application deadline: November 20, 2026. We hold ongoing interviews

If you have questions about the position, you can contact the institution director Birgitte Larsen at 21459146 or the pedagogical leader Jeanne at 21264528
