We are seeking a qualified educator for a permanent position in our nursery

• We are seeking a pedagogue for 34-37 hours per week.

The position is available as of December 1, 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter.

The House at the Lakes (Børnehuset ved Søerne) is a large municipal combined institution; we have 180 children and about 47 staff distributed across 2 sites, the nursery on Frederiksberg and our outreach kindergarten in Værløse

Common to both kindergarten and nursery is that we work in pedagogical learning environments with structured pedagogical content. We are engaged, professionally ambitious and emphasize a development-oriented and positive working environment for both children and adults.

You enter a nursery with happy children and present and professionally conscious adults. You will become a meaningful adult in a group with 12 nursery children aged 10 months – 2.10 years. You will collaborate with a teaching colleague and an assistant colleague, as well as all the other skilled colleagues in our large nursery. You will also become part of an educational practice based on the curriculum themes. You will be an active participant in our focus on creating a learning environment for all children all day, and where play is at the center.

In daily life, it means that based on the curriculum themes, we do this among other things by working in small pedagogical learning environments where the pedagogue takes responsibility for the professional inclusion and the content of the activity.

We are seeking a pedagogue who is driven by the joy of working with children's development, learning, formation and well-being. You should thrive with structure, and you should have positive experience that preparation and planning of your pedagogical work adds value for both you and the children.

In thoughtful pedagogy, we emphasize independence, presence and care for the individual child. In addition, play and learning go hand in hand, which means that you as an adult must lead as initiator and inspirer.

Salary and employment terms

Are in collaboration with the collective bargaining organization. In Frederiksberg Municipality there is a requirement to present a criminal record and child clearance upon employment.
