Pedagogical Lead for Firkløveren

At Firkløveren we are seeking a pedagogical professional leader who can help develop our practice and lead the pedagogical direction together with an experienced head of institution.

Firkløveren is an integrated institution with about 132 children aged 0-6 years. We are located in three houses on the same plot in the lovely green Ishøj. We have a professionally engaged staff who work based on ICDP, the strengthened pedagogical curriculum and Ishøj's quality parameters.

We work continuously to be professional, positive, present and authentic role models in everyday life with a curious and appreciative approach to children, parents and colleagues.

As a pedagogical professional leader you will focus on

• Initiating, supporting and following up on pedagogical development in both the nursery and kindergarten
• Ensuring high quality in daily routines and pedagogical transitions
• Being a sparring partner for staff and contributing to a learning culture
• Having an overview of children in vulnerable positions and collaborating across disciplines
• Strengthening parental collaboration through professionalism, clarity and recognition
• Having responsibility for meeting plans, agendas and minutes as well as parts of daily operations
• Participating in a well-functioning management team and actively contributing to the collaboration

You will co-hold development projects – including “Strong Communities for Children and Young People in Ishøj” – and you will play an important role in translating our pedagogical direction into practice.

We are looking for you who

• Are a trained pedagogue and have experience with pedagogical leadership or are ready to take the next step
• Have strong relational competencies and an appreciative approach
• Can create followership and joy at work through clear, presence-based leadership
• Have an overview and keep calm in a busy daily life
• See collaboration, dialogue and reflection as the path to development and are strong in both oral and written communication
• Have knowledge of or an interest in ICDP and a desire to work with it in practice
