Aarhus Friplejehjem is seeking as of 01/11/2026 or as soon as possible thereafter, an engaged occupational therapist who would like to be part of our lovely team.

About the job

As an occupational therapist you will be an important part of everyday life at the care homes. With a basis in your professional expertise you contribute to rehabilitation, activity and participation, transfers, dysphagia efforts, palliation as well as increased self- and co-determination for the residents.

Work is based on person-centred care, where the resident's life story, wishes, goals and resources are guiding the effort. Your role will shift between being instructive, teaching, coaching, facilitating and performing – depending on need and situation.

You will among other things

• Participate in the multidisciplinary collaboration with social- and health personnel, nurses, physiotherapists, nutritional staff, doctors and management
• Apply your occupational therapy competencies in a daily life with residents facing both physical and cognitive challenges
• Work with assessment, documentation and planning of occupational therapy interventions
• Contribute to creating a safe, dignified and meaningful everyday life for the residents

Your profile

We are looking for an occupational therapist who

• Has a solid occupational therapy professional foundation and thrives in resident-near practice
• Has an interest in multidisciplinary collaboration and is passionate about person-centred care
• Works rehabilitatively and systematically with assessment and documentation
• Is curious, engaged and contributes constructively to the joint task solving
• Can translate occupational therapy tools into concrete actions in a nursing home environment
• Wants to be a professional role model

The position is 30 - 37 hours
