About the job

Would you like to help make it easier for companies and citizens to find, understand and use guidance from the Tax Administration? Can you ensure good frameworks for the agency's internal professional communication? And do you have experience translating data and insights into clear and recipient-friendly content? Then perhaps you are the one we are looking for!

Join us to strengthen communication work with data insight and a digital focus

In Communications and Press, we work with internal and external communication, press handling, stakeholder engagement, graphic design, events and larger communication initiatives.

As our new colleague, you will, based on your knowledge of data and user behavior, help develop good communication for both citizens, businesses and employees.

You will primarily take a central role in the ongoing development of our website and intranet, and your tasks will include to:

  • develop the office's focus on SEO, GEO, CMS data, search behavior and user insights and translate knowledge and data into concrete improvements of content, structure and digital user journeys
  • follow developments in digital search patterns and new technologies and assess what they mean for the Tax Administration's communication
  • make complex subject matter clear, usable and easy to find with a focus on information architecture, navigation, accessibility and content design
  • develop the editorial organization for the intranet and further develop the framework for cooperation on the intranet between Communications and Press and the subject-matter experts
  • advise on digital communication solutions and contribute to larger communication efforts across disciplines
  • prepare content for both the website and other channels.

You will have a broad collaboration interface with the agency's units, in a cross-disciplinary editor network across the Tax Administration and with our sister agency Development and Simplification Agency, which has the technical responsibility for our digital platforms.

Independent and development-oriented with strong advisory skills

You have a communication-related education and solid experience with content design, UX, information architecture and digital user journeys, preferably from a public organization, a larger company or a bureau. It is an advantage if you also have experience with governance, and if you are sharp on the technical possibilities in our platforms, Umbraco and SharePoint.

We also place emphasis on the following about you

  • can translate data and user insights into concrete communicative improvements
  • have a sharp eye for clear digital communication based on recipients' needs
  • can drive development tasks and create progress across disciplines
  • on your own initiative identify potential areas of focus where we can support the business with communication
  • work in a structured way and have an eye for both quality and coherence
  • can advise, collaborate and challenge constructively.

We support an international societal mission

The Tax Administration has about 800 employees spread across the country. We come from diverse backgrounds and areas of expertise – but we are all driven to take part in an important task, and we are proud of the results we create. In the staff we work every day ambitiously to support the agency's core tasks, and we collaborate across the whole organization on constructive solutions.

If you want to collaborate with dedicated colleagues and be part of solving an international task that creates value for Denmark and ensures Danish society, then the Tax Administration is for you. Together we create opportunities across borders.

In Communications and Press you will become part of a professionally strong and engaged team of 11 employees. We work closely across disciplines and assemble the team according to the task.
